Get FSC CoC Certified

3. Select which company sites will handle FSC material.
4. Decide which structure type (individual, multi-site, group) of FSC CoC certification is right for your business model.
5. Choose which FSC Standards your company will need to be in conformance with.
6. Shop the FSC certification bodies for price and value.
7. Write FSC conforming procedures, schedules, forms and training documents.
8. Train staff on FSC procedures.
9. Conduct formal or informal internal surveillance audits to measure staff conformance to procedures.
10. Revise FSC procedures, schedules, forms and training as Standards change or internal non-conformances are identified.
11. Develop and use a reporting system to summarize FSC volume production annually per FSC requirements.
12. Receive an on-site audit from your certification body.
13. Revise FSC procedures, schedules, forms and training as Standards change or non-conformances are identified by your certification body.
14. Repeat steps 8-13 annually.
