FSC Chain of Custody Standard Changes Effective October 1, 2012

Companies who were FSC CoC certified prior to October 1, 2011 and are currently audited to the FSCSTD--40-004 V2-0 standard are required to update their procedures and documentation by October 1, 2012 in order to be in conformance with the revised standard, FSC-STD-40-004 V2-1. (The best way to determine the standard you are following is to refer to the audit report your Certification Body provided you in 2011.)

While conformance to the revised standard is not required until October, companies may move to that standard at any time.
